Spiritual growth happens throughout life for children, youth, and adults.   We are intentional about spiritual formation at UBBC. We offer learning experiences that teach about the Bible, the mysteries of faith, the stories of Jesus, prayer, and putting our faith into action.

Our children and youth are guided through scripture-based lessons using the Shine Curriculum.  Each lesson includes spiritual practice, the telling of a Bible story through scripture, and related activities.  There are Elementary Classes for K-5th grades and Youth Classes for 6th -12th grades.

Adult Forum

The Adult Forum provides weekly opportunities to engage in a wide variety of topics related to life and faith. The Forum uses guest speakers, panels, video series, Bible study and more to address spiritual, cultural, social justice, and other current issues.  The Forum can be experienced in person or via Zoom.

The Church of the Brethren offers work camp experiences for all ages: middle and high school youth, young adults, intergenerational, and seniors.  Our youth have attended many summer work camps, and return to share their experiences with the congregation.
